It’s a bit wet today. I was visiting my Mam in Terenure and never one to be short of the perfect phrase she came out with “I wouldn’t put a milk bottle out in this weather.” Spot on. I left the house with inappropriate clothing so today’s rain, as far as I was concerned, was [...] I blame the weather. We’d planned to get up at 7am and head off for a walk around Howth Head. Either we misheard the forecast, or Met Éireann got it wrong, either way the sunshine we expected before the inevitable showers was nowhere to be seen. Plan B kicked in.
